The Older generation are the pillars in our church. We do everything we can to remember their dedication, meet their physical needs, and give them the honor they deserve. So many have lived faithful lives in God’s service here at East Side. We want to learn as much as we can from them, and follow their example in every way possible.
The Bible says, “The hoary head (gray hair) is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.” Proverbs 16:31
As well as their faithfulness to God’s House, they also get together for monthly trips to award winning restaurants and eateries, go on annual trips together, are involved in the prayer, teaching, and other service ministries of our church.
