Ladies Ministry

Let love be without dissimulation (hyprocrisy).
Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;
in honour preferring one another;
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
(Rom 12:9-13)

We extend a warm welcome to all ladies to our Women’s Ministry here at East Side! Our ministry goal is to meet YOU where you are and steer your focus towards Christ: the answer to all of our needs.  We set out together to inspire a new generation of women to seek out the blessing of godly relationships that will encourage and equip them to live for God’s glory! All of our activities are based on a biblical foundation of what true womanhood should portray – a life that glorifies God and makes the gospel real. You may be asking yourself, “How can my ordinary life be used to showcase the gospel and draw others to Christ?”  One way is to  mentor a new generation by coming along side them, loving them, teaching them, and training them, one moment at a time.  In doing so, we reap the benefits of a ministry that evangelizes and reaches out to the poor and needy. Whether you are young or old, or in between, there will always be a place for you here!

Some of our activities include: Bible studies, fellowship times, outreach projects, retreats and individual mentoring time by caring women that love God. We would love to include YOU in this ministry, as we walk this road of True Womanhood together. A life that glorifies God and makes the gospel real!

“It has been a big blessing for me to be involved in the Women’s Ministry at East Side.  It has been a great way to get to know other ladies who love the Lord and who have encouraged me a long the way.  We all need wisdom from those who have been down the road and who can point us back to Christ.”  – Debbie Meng, Ochlocknee, GA

“What our ladies ministry means to me…. to be an encouragement, while being encouraged at the same time.  To have the opportunity to get together and enjoy the sweet fellowship of a Church family.  Whether it be painting, sewing, or just eating together, there is an abundance of laughter and sometimes tears, as we share with each other, how God has so richly blessed us.” –Tina Mash, Thomasville, GA
